Fountain of Youth is a natural energy drink made from pure coconut water, created by the Berlin-based scene hotel Michelberger. The goal of the project was to show how live sound branding can present both product and brand identity in a distinctive, engaging way at marketing events and trade fairs. This concept became the foundation for a dedicated video production.
During the exploration phase, we looked into the sound associations around the name "Fountain of Youth." Together with the brand's mascot, this led to the idea of an "acoustic jungle" as the drink's natural habitat. The soundscape blends monkey calls, flowing water, and exotic birdsong into a tropical rainforest atmosphere that runs through the entire composition.
To deepen the emotional connection to the brand, we reinterpreted Bob Marley's "Could It Be Love." We translated its melody and rhythm into a live performance using objects directly tied to the product. With contemporary interaction technology, bananas, coconuts, and even the cans themselves became playable sound generators.
Alongside the music-driven film, we also produced a separate clip that reimagined the mascot as a playful comic character, adding a humorous and approachable layer to the narrative. The final result is a music video recorded in our Berlin sound studio—combining sound design, performance, and storytelling into a cohesive live sound branding case study.
